Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to common questions about Clear Cell Facial.
The Clear Cell Facial is ideal for oily, combination, and acne-prone skin. It’s formulated to control excess oil, unclog pores, and reduce inflammation. Dry skin clients can still receive a modified treatment; consult your esthetician for a tailored approach.
Appointments usually run 60 minutes, including consultation, cleansing, targeted exfoliation, extractions if needed, and calming masks. Extended sessions or add-ons (LED therapy or chemical peels) may increase duration. Your esthetician will recommend timing based on skin condition and goals.
Yes, our facial is designed to treat active breakouts gently. We use anti-inflammatory ingredients and careful extraction techniques to avoid irritation. For severe cystic acne, we may refer you to a dermatologist and adapt treatments to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Most clients notice improvements after one session, especially reduced oiliness and calmer skin. For lasting change and fewer breakouts, a series of 4–6 treatments spaced two to four weeks apart is recommended, combined with a homecare routine.
Downtime is minimal for most clients. Mild redness or flaking can occur for 24–72 hours depending on treatments used. We customize intensity to limit peeling; follow post-care instructions to help recovery and protect skin while new cells regenerate.
Use gentle, non-comedogenic cleansers, oil-free moisturizers, and broad-spectrum SPF daily. Incorporate recommended clinical ingredients like salicylic acid or niacinamide as advised. Avoid harsh scrubs, retinoids, or active peels for several days post-treatment to prevent irritation and support healing.
