Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to common questions about Eyelash Extensions.
Extensions usually last three to six weeks depending on your natural lash growth cycle, aftercare, and the type of set applied. We recommend a refill every two to three weeks to maintain fullness and replace natural shedding lashes for a seamless look.
Yes, with precautions. Use hypoallergenic adhesives and experienced technicians can minimize irritation. Bring contact lenses or remove them before the appointment. We'll perform a consultation and sensitivity check to determine the best adhesive and bond style for your eyes.
Avoid water, steam, and sweating for the first 24–48 hours to allow adhesive to cure. Gently cleanse with oil-free cleansers, avoid rubbing or pulling, and brush lashes daily with a clean spoolie to keep them aligned and prevent tangling.
When applied correctly by trained technicians, extensions should not damage natural lashes. Proper weight, isolation, and adhesive use prevent stress. Follow aftercare and schedule appropriate fill appointments to avoid excessive weight or improper growth patterns that can weaken natural lashes.
Avoid oil-based mascaras, eyeliners, and makeup removers as they break down adhesive. Water-based, extension-safe products are allowed and powder eyeshadows are fine. Gently remove makeup and avoid rubbing. If you want mascara, use extension-safe formulas sparingly on tips only.
Initial full set appointments typically take 90 to 120 minutes depending on desired volume, lash mapping complexity, and natural lash condition. A thorough consultation and careful application are included to ensure optimal placement, comfort, and long-lasting results.
