Get answers to common questions about Full Front Or Back Waxing.
Results usually last three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth, skin type, and your grooming routine. With regular appointments, hair often grows back finer and sparser. We’ll recommend timing for follow-ups based on how quickly your hair returns.
Some clients feel brief, sharp tugs during hair removal, but discomfort is short-lived. Our trained estheticians use precise technique, skin-prep, and calming topical products to minimize pain. We also adapt pressure and breaks for clients who need extra comfort.
Avoid heavy exfoliation, sun exposure, and topical retinoids for several days before your appointment. Ensure the hair is about quarter-inch long. Clean, dry skin free of lotions helps the wax adhere properly for optimal results and reduced irritation.
Avoid hot showers, saunas, intense exercise, and tight clothing for 24-48 hours. Use gentle cleansers and fragrance-free moisturizers. Exfoliate lightly after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs, and use recommended soothing products if redness or sensitivity persists.
Mild redness or bumps are common but typically subside within a day or two. Proper preparation, professional technique, and post-wax exfoliation and moisturizing reduce ingrown hairs. If you experience prolonged irritation, contact us for advice or a follow-up assessment.
Clients with active sunburn, open wounds, contagious skin conditions, severe rosacea, recent chemical peels, or isotretinoin use may need to delay waxing. Always disclose medications and skin treatments during booking so we can determine safe timing and alternatives.
