Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Under Arms Waxing.

Most clients enjoy smooth underarms for three to six weeks depending on hair growth cycles and skin. Regular waxing often extends intervals as hair thins. Individual results vary; we can recommend scheduling based on your personal regrowth pattern.

You may feel brief discomfort during hair removal, but our gentle techniques, numbing options, and experienced staff greatly reduce pain. Tension and breathing strategies also help; most clients report tolerable sensations and quick relief after treatment.

Ensure hair is about quarter- to half-inch long for effective removal. Exfoliate gently 48 hours before, avoid heavy deodorants or lotions on the day, and inform us of medications or skin sensitivities.

Mild redness, tenderness, or tiny bumps are normal and usually subside within 24 to 48 hours. Use soothing post-wax products we provide, avoid hot showers, heavy sweating, or deodorant for 24 hours to reduce irritation and infection risk.

Some topical prescriptions like retinoids increase sensitivity and risk of irritation. Tell us about any treatments or recent dermatological procedures. We may require a patch test or recommend pausing certain products a few days before waxing.

Avoid deodorants, perfumes, or antiperspirants for at least 24 hours to prevent irritation. After that, choose alcohol-free, gentle formulations and test on a small area. If irritation persists, wait longer and consult our esthetician.
